SOUND & COLOR SCULPTURE GARDEN
OCT. 2024 - JAN. 2025

ABOUT:
Our curation of the sculpture garden at Sound & Color in downtown Concord, NH explores abstract, geometric, contemporary expression in public view. The large-scale sculptures in steel, aluminum and mixed media capture the prompt of the festival theme: Sound & Color. Each piece representing its own color and form, reflecting the motion of the crowds.

The works are display for an extended view on the historic grounds and galleries at Kimball Jenkins (Concord, NH) following the Sound & Color Festival, allowing easy access to public art. Take a stroll by the grounds and see the work for yourself.
SCULPTORS INCLUDED:
Damion Silver is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work spans printmaking, assemblage & sculpture. Silver’s latest work explores the use of form through repetition, subtraction and abstraction. The combination of mediums and use of space between the works, creates dynamic and unifying language between his sculpture and print works. Both his art and design work have been shown and published throughout the U.S., Europe and Japan.

Adam Pearson is a sculptor working across multiple disciplines including ceramics, welding and casting. His large-scale sculptures often assemble found materials to create new bold linear and geometric forms. Pearson graduated with a BFA from University of New Hampshire, and has exhibited works across the region since. In 2009, Pearson was elected president of Art Esprit, a non-profit arts organization. Under his guidance, the group successfully completed a series of public art projects.
